In a surprising turn of events, HBO Max has seemingly removed all traces of Zack Snyder's Justice League on social media and streaming platforms like YouTube and it's causing major panic amongst fans. It all started when fans noticed that the epic trailer, which debuted last August during the inaugural DC FanDome suddenly went missing and it's still unclear whether this was just a technical glitch or something that was actually intentional.
When you try to look it up on YouTube, the official trailer originally uploaded on HBO Max's channel is nowhere to be found. In Zack Snyder's tweet last August, the link is still attached to the said post but the video is no longer viewable and has apparently been set to private. You can check out a screenshot of Snyder's tweet below:
Naturally, DCEU fans panicked over the trailer's intriguing disappearance and expressed their concern on Twitter. It's leading some people to believe that the Snyder Cut is getting canceled. I personally think that's a bit of a stretch but we still don't know for sure what exactly is happening. Zack Snyder and the film's stars have yet to address the matter. See some of the reactions below:
The decision to have them removed has yet to be disclosed by Warner and HBO Max and while I think it's just a mere tease to get fans talking, it'll be interesting to see if this stunning development indeed affects the upcoming project. I sure hope not as we've been waiting for this moment for close to three years now and considering Snyder and his team are currently doing reshoots, it'd be a major blow should it get canned once anew. Again, I strongly believe that it's all just a massive stunt to cause some much-needed buzz ahead of its release.
That said, Zack Snyder's Justice League is scheduled for release in 2021.
