Hazbin Hotel just debuted its first four episodes on Amazon Prime, and yet fans are quick to cheer for the new ensemble of voice actors joining the series. However, one particular voice actor caught their attention: does Jason Statham voice Zestial in Hazbin Hotel?
Does Jason Statham Voice Zestial? Fans Are Convinced It's Him
The Hazbin Hotel's voice actor replacements have been a long time coming, but Jason Statham was never mentioned before its streaming release.
Apparently, Statham has been unveiled to be voicing the character of Zestial Morde, one of the minor protagonists in Hazbin Hotel Season 1, who serves as a part of Lucifer's inner circle.
Considering that the Crank and Fast and Furious action star has previously voiced Sergeant Waters in the first Call of Duty, it's no wonder why fans would end up seeing him make a return to voice acting sometime.
A couple of fans immediately noticed and were quick to share some reactions on X (formerly Twitter):
Jason Statham is NOT in Hazbin Hotel
It is worth mentioning that this turned out to be a glitch in the system of Amazon Prime.
See, while streaming, subscribers can view the voice actors appearing on-screen, and as it turned out, Jason Statham is NOT the voice actor of Zestial.
As fans pointed out, Zestial's voice actor had been corrected from Jason Statham to his actual voice actor, James Monroe Iglehart.
Without further ado, meet the real voice actor behind Zestial!
