Hayden Christensen recently visited the iconic Empire State Building for a Star Wars-themed takeover ceremony.

The beloved Anakin Skywalker actor has been making his Star Wars comeback for the past few years as he made appearances in Obi-Wan Kenobi and the first season of Ahsoka.

A lot of fans have been delighted with Christensen's return and they are hoping that the actor will make more appearances in the franchise moving forward.

Hayden Christensen Attends Star Wars Lighting Ceremony at Empire State Building

Christensen recently attended the "March to May the 4th" event at the Empire State Building for a Star Wars-themed takeover of the iconic New York landmark.

The actor was present at the lighting ceremony alongside a Darth Vader cosplayer and flipped the switch for the symbolic takeover.

According to Time Out, starting today until April 29, there will be multiple displays that celebrate the Star Wars franchise scattered throughout the iconic building.

The ceremony also unveiled a Star Wars-themed Fifth Avenue window display and the building’s observatory will have a LEGO Star Wars exhibit.

A lot of fans on social media have reacted to Christensen's Empire State Building visit as they joked about Anakin finally having the "high ground" including the official account of the iconic landmark.

Christensen has expressed his interest in making more appearances in the Star Wars franchise following his recent return in the last few years.

"I would love to get to do more, and I'd love to get to continue with Star Wars and we'll see. I don't know what the future holds, and if such an opportunity presents itself, I'll be there with a big smile on my face," he told Entertainment Weekly.

"And if it doesn't, I feel really grateful for getting to come back and getting to do the work that I did in both Obi-Wan and Ahsoka."

So far, Lucasfilm remains mum on Christensen's future in the franchise, but there are rumors that he will be appearing in the second season of Ahsoka.
