Hawkeye Star Reacts To Paul Rudd Winning Sexiest Man Alive


Recently, People Magazine announced Ant-Man star Paul Rudd as the “Sexiest Man Alive” of 2021. A lot of Marvel stars have also won the title in the past including Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Hugh Jackman, and Michael B. Jordan. After it was announced that Paul Rudd was named Sexiest Man Alive, fans took to social media to celebrate the Ant-Man star’s win including Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds, who claims Rudd had a pact with the devil himself. Another Marvel star, Jeremy Renner, also commented on the news on Instagram, sharing a delightful photo of him and Rudd in the process.

"Congrats to my friend Paul Rudd, 'sexiest man alive' !!! .... From your friend, who looks tremendous, in the dark... like 'zero light handsome' 😂😉. #paulrudd," Renner wrote. Many celebrities commented on the post, including actor Justin Long, who joked, "Sexiest congratulatory post!" You can check out Jeremy Renner’s post here.

Paul Rudd next appearance in a Marvel movie will be in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which is set to be released in the United States on July 28, 2023. In the meantime, he is set to appear in the Apple TV+ series The Shrink Next Door and Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

As for the upcoming Marvel movie, Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang will be joined by returning stars such as Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Evangeline Lilly (Wasp/Hope Van Dyne), Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne). The Ant-Man threequel will also be featuring Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang and Jonathan Majors, who made his first MCU appearance in the finale of Loki as "He Who Remains." Jonathan Majors will be playing Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Paul Rudd recently spoke about working with Jonathan Majors. In the interview, he said, "I've loved everything he's done, and I see what he's doing in this, and I'm knocked out by it.” He also said that "It is really fun to bring new people into the fold, and the enthusiasm that people have is palpable."

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to release on July 28, 2023, while the Hawkeye series will be released on Disney+ on November 24, 2021.
