Hawkeye Offers Official Look at Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop

Before Disney's Investor Day, we had been getting a lot of set photos of Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld on the set of Disney+'s Hawkeye. We thought an official look would have to wait until next year, but Disney has gone ahead and given us a great look at Kate Bishop.

This comes from the official Marvel announcements with Kevin Feige:

You can watch the series details here:

We don't have any clue yet as to how Kate will be introduced in the show, but she's likely going to be Clint's protégé as he searches for someone to replace him in The Avengers. Set photos have actually shown Renner to be wearing a hearing aid; alluding to Hawkeye being deaf in the comics. Seeing that Hawkeye doesn't have any disabilities in the MCU so far, losing his hearing could be a perfect plot device for him to try and find someone to replace him. With Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff having been killed off, Marvel needs to find a better way to resign their characters besides death.

Despite the multiple announced shows for Marvel, we don't know when the next Avengers-level team-up will take place. With Marvel looking to enter new territory, we should expect it to come out sometime in 2024.

No specific release date has been set for Hawkeye, but Feige has confirmed that it will come out on Disney+ sometime late next year. In the meantime, fans wait for the release of WandaVision on January 15, 2021.
