It's almost time for the final episode of Hawkeye and people are already looking forward to Vincent D'onofrio's return as Wilson Fisk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series. The studio knows this and that's why Kingpin's arrival is sneakily teased in the official trailer for the Disney+ show's season finale.
The poster was shared by the official Hawkeye series Twitter account and it puts the focus on Clint Barton and Kate Bishop. They are joined by Yelena Belova and the awesome Lucky the Pizza Dog while Maya Lopez, Kazi, and the Tracksuit Mafia are featured below. We also see Eleanor Bishop and Jack Duquesne in the poster. It's great to see all of these characters but where is Kingpin? If you look closely, you'll see a large dark figure looming over Clint and Kate. Any fan of the comic books and the Daredevil series will easily tell you that's Wilson Fisk preparing to make a move.
We already got a glimpse at Kingpin in the previous episode of Hawkeye when Yelena sent a blurry picture to Kate. The image featured Eleanor Bishop smiling and talking to Vincent D'onofrio's Wilson Fisk.
It was a great tease but are we really getting Kingpin in the Hawkeye season finale? It's highly unlikely that D'onofrio was brought back just to appear in a blurry picture. With that in mind, we can't wait to see Wilson Fisk in action this Wednesday.
It's been a truly amazing journey for Hawkeye as Clint found himself a new protege while Kate learned something huge about her own mother. But how will it all end? Hopefully, the characters will finally get to enjoy Christmas this week.
Hawkeye Episode 6 has not yet been given an official title. Nevertheless, the series finale is already set to premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.
