The Acolyte episode 6 introduces a new Jedi apprentice working with elder Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh. Mog is about as bright as Yord, but twice as alive, and played by British comedy powerhouse Harry Trevaldwyn.
Harry Trevaldwyn Was Already A Household Name Before The Acolyte
Harry Trevaldwyn's big break arrived in 2019, well before he landed the role of Mog in The Acolyte. He appeared in Netflix's young Henry V biography, The King, as Dartmouth.
He later on portrayed TV characters such as Ollie Rogers in 2022's Ten Percent, Matthew in the 2022 mini sitcom series I Hate You, Jordan in Smothered and Stan on the 2024 show The Outlaws, along with more, smaller roles.
Outside of acting, Trevaldwyn was the writer and associate producer for the 2022 short film Billi, and also has a sizeable following as an online comedian, creating viral video skits.
He is best known for his video, The Bad NYE Party You're Missing and his most prominent character is Smug Mother, who usually mistreats the off-screen stepdaughter, Natalie.

Mog Is By Far The Acolyte's Funniest Jedi Pupil
Trevaldwyn's character in The Acolyte, Mog, is the brand new pupil of elder Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh (Rebecca Henderson), and joins her in investigating Jecki and Yord's crime scene. and so far has
Despite mostly providing comedic relief in an episode that didn't otherwise stand out very much, Mog also appears to be an astute investigator. Could there be more to Vernestra's goofy pupil than meets the eye?
After all, it was Mog who confirmed that Sol met with trouble on the jungle planet Khofar, and he was also the reason Vernestra managed to read the crime scene so well.
As of writing, it remains to be seen whether we'll see another side of Trevaldwyn's character in The Acolyte's remaining episodes, especially as fans had very mixed reactions to his character, Mog.
