Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone had just celebrated its 18th anniversary last Nov. 21, and everyone is looking back at the film that started the J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World craze. What's fun is, there's a photo going around online of notes that 11-year-old Emma Watson wrote down when they were shooting scenes with Hermione writing.
Check it out:
The note reads:
My name is Emma Charlotte Watson. I am 10 years old and playing the part as Hermione Granger. I am in a Tranfiguration. I love this pen (quill). Proffser Mcgonigal (the cat) (miss peacock) is beautifull **** is black *** white. I wish ** had a cat as a teacher.
Apparently the shot comes from a behind-the-scenes video from the Sorcerer's Stone, and it was on Youtube, but was blocked by Warner Bros. With the attention the post is getting (80k+ retweets, 345.9k likes) though, I can imagine the clip will get officially released one way or another.
If anything, it looks like Emma Watson's Potter days are officially over. I guess all we can really do is wait for the movie adaptation of Cursed Child where everyone will want her to come back. Then again, with all the people hating where that story goes, maybe WB can just do some kind of Force Awakens reboot/sequel and have Hermione Granger cameo in that story—along with the rest of her castmates of course.
For now, Fantastic Beasts 3 is set for a release on Nov. 12, 2021.
