Harrison Ford Says No One Will Replace Him as Indiana Jones

Harrison Ford might not be playing Han Solo anymore but that isn't the only character he is often associated with; if you don't know him from Star Wars then you'll surely recognize him as Indiana Jones. The character is so iconic that people know who he is, even if they have yet to see an Indiana Jones movie, showing just how ingrained in pop culture the character is.

While there are plans for Ford to return in a new movie, there have also been talks of replacing the actor with someone younger for a future reboot. During an interview with The Today Show, Ford claims that he is the only Indiana Jones and when he dies, no one will replace him. That's a bold statement when you consider how many films are rebooted these days but you've got to give the man credit.

Ford mentions Chris Pine as one of the rumored replacements, though most of us figured that it would be Chris Pratt replacing Ford. There's a good chance that Ford was just confused since there are so many actors named Chris in Hollywood. Then again, maybe he knows something we all don't and Pine is a potential candidate after all.

No release date for Indiana Jones 5 has been announced, though we can probably expect news during Comic-Con or some other big event.
