Kaley Cuoco has gained a strong following amongst DC fans for her fantastic work as the voice of Harley Quinn in HBO Max's Harley Quinn series but despite her fresh and vibrant take on the iconic DC Comics character, some fans still can't help but compare her portrayal to Margot Robbie who has had the privilege of playing Quinn in live-action form for four years now.
Apparently, Kaley is already getting sick and tired of some fans pitting her against Margot. Addressing their non-existent "rivalry" in her latest Interview Magazine feature, Cuoco revealed that she hasn't even met Robbie and has no clue why fans are pitting them against one another. She said, "When Harley became a kind of a big deal and then when Birds of Prey came out, there were all these stories that I and Margot Robbie were feuding."
The star of the hit American sitcom The Big Bang Theory continued, "But I've never even met her. I love her. There was an article that came out that said we would not show up together at Comic-Con. We refused to be on the same stage together. Neither of us was even at Comic-Con, okay?"
I mean, I don't think there was ever a need to compare Kaley and Margot's performances because that would be like comparing apples with oranges. Both actresses bring something great to the table and to be frank, they've aced their respective roles as animated and live-action versions of Harley Quinn. Now, considering Harley has somewhat become DC's female version of Deadpool, I think it would be great to see a crossover project between the two. That would be a riot.
Harley Quinn has been renewed for a third season.
