Lucasfilm is releasing more clips from Solo: A Star Wars Story now that the film is only a few weeks away from premiering, and thanks to Jimmy Kimmel Live, we have a new clip of Han meeting up with Beckett (Woody Harrelson) and Val (Thandie Newton).
The scene confirms one thing, that Beckett and Val are actually thieves dressed as Imperials, with Han being the only legit soldier among them. It seems that he runs into them in the middle of a battle, and Han immediately points out that the two of them are imposters.
As for the location, it's on a planet called Mimban, and the troopers assigned there have been called mudtroopers; surely another reason why Han would like to defect and join a life of crime that Beckett and Val are part of.
I'm sure that a lot of fans would consider the scene a spoiler, but the marketing has already been blatant about Beckett being a thief since the very first teaser. I'm just crossing my fingers that Lucasfilm holds back on the spoilers as we all wait for the movie to release. We don't want another Spider-Man: Homecoming situation.
Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out May 25.
