There is little doubt that Marvel fans are loving Kate Bishop right now, thanks to the success of the Hawkeye series. But is it possible that Clint Barton's young protege is already seeking out a new mission in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? A new report reveals that Hailee Steinfeld has been spotted on the set of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania!
According to Midgard Times, Hailee Steinfeld had visited the UK's Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. This also happens to be where Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is being filmed. Not surprisingly, this has led to speculations that she was in the studio to film scenes as Kate Bishop.
We're loving the idea of Kate being a part of Quantumania. After all, the sequel will feature another future Young Avenger in Cassie Lang, who will be played by Kathryn Newton. In the comics, Cassie becomes the superhero Stature who joins the Young Avengers with Kate's Hawkeye.
So could this mean we'll be seeing two Young Avengers finally working together in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania? For now, it has not yet been confirmed whether Steinfeld will appear in the MCU sequel. In addition to that, there is a possibility that the trip to Pinewoods Studio was just a casual visit. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.
We're not sure yet if Kate Bishop is in Quantumania but that doesn't mean Steinfeld is not a busy woman. In addition to playing Kate in Hawkeye, she has been confirmed to reprise her role as Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Gwen in Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse (Part One).
A new episode of Hawkeye will premiere on December 8, 2021. Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is still in production and is scheduled for release on July 28, 2023.
