Warning: This article contains spoilers to the Season 7 finale of Game of Thrones.
A lot of things happened during the final episode of the seventh season of Game of Thrones. Not only did The Dragon and the Wolf unite most of the series' major characters like Cersei (Lena Headey), Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), the season finale also saw the surprising end of Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen).
While some fans guessed that Game of Thrones would end the cunning life of Petyr Baelish, British actress Gwendoline Christie says her character Brienne of Tarth has no idea that Littlefinger would die so soon despite the fact that the female knight had warned Sansa (Sophie Turner) against the man.
Speaking with The Daily Express, Christie says that Brienne might not be too happy that Sansa decided to kill of Little Finger, especially since the knight sticks to a certain code of honor.
"Look at the way she beheaded Stannis. She essentially read him his rights. Although it was loaded with emotion for her, she presented it in a very official, formal way, with great nobility.
So I don't know how Brienne will react to people taking matters into their own hands at Winterfell. Brienne is about a code of honour, a code of conduct, and she never kills anyone just for the sake of it."
However, it seems like Brienne might not totally begrude Sansa for her decisions, with the British actress reminding fans that her character was sworn to protect the Stark girls. If anything, Brienne might probably be a bit disappointed that she wasn't there to see the death of Baelish.
Game of Thrones season 8 premieres sometime 2018 or 2019.
