Gummy revealed the story behind the song she sang at Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin’s wedding and why she chose IU’s track as the congratulatory song.
The singer appeared as a guest in MBC FM4U’s Kim Shin-young’s Noon Song of Hope where she spoke about her experience during the power couple’s ceremony.
The singer and a mother of one is among the guests of the BinJin couple during their ceremony in March held at the luxurious Aston House at the Grand Walkerhill in Seoul.
However, Gummy serenaded not just the couple but also the guests with her breathtaking voice singing one of IU's songs.

Dubbed as the K-drama OST Queen, the 41-year-old beauty sang Give You My Heart, as the congratulatory song for the couple.
Interestingly, it was IU who originally sang the track for the K-drama Crash Landing On You, which also stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin.
During her interview, Gummy revealed what made her choose the song and explained that it was where the couple played as the lead stars.
“I have many OSTs, but since both of them are actors, singing the OST of other dramas or movies would make people think of other actors,” she said, as obtained by a media outlet, adding, “I thought it would be more meaningful to sing the OST of the drama starring both of them together. That’s how I chose the song.”
Besides Gummy, Kim Bum Soo entertained the newlyweds and the audience by singing the OST from Hyun Bin's drama Secret Garden, where the actor starred with Ha Ji Won, who is also among the couple’s guests.
Interestingly, Son ye Jin, who looked stunning in her bridal gown, walked down the aisle with the song Can't Help Falling In Love playing in the background.

Son Ye Jin Reportedly Asked Gummy to Sing The Song
As the interview continued, Gummy shared more interaction with the couple, especially with Son Ye Jin.
The singer said that she and the actress “were not really close but met each other a few times before.”
The songstress also revealed that she heard Son Ye Jin “tried hard” to ask her to sing for the ceremony and added, “ That’s why I gladly came and congratulated her with a song.”
Gummy is an award-winning singer who is best known for her K-drama OSTs.
In addition, she is also Jo Jung Suk’s wife and a mother to their two-year-old daughter.
