Guilds of Ravnica Pre-release Will Give Out Magic: The Gathering Arena Codes

Earlier today, Wizards of the Coast announced the Open Beta for their digital collectible card game Magic: The Gathering Arena, and we learned that they're planning to offer redemption codes that players can get from booster packs, Pre-release kits, and Planeswalker Decks. That means starting on Guilds of Ravnica's pre-release events on September 29-30, players will be able to acquire Magic Arena codes they can get from their Pre-release packs.

Today, the developers of Magic Arena talked about the game on the official Magic: The Gathering Twitch channel and there, they revealed what the Magic Arena redemption codes look like. Check it out:

I'm sure the redemption codes will motivate players to buy more Magic: The Gathering products and play Magic Arena.Pokemon Trading Card Game has been doing this for a long time, and I'm glad that Magic is finally adding this awesome integration on Magic Arena.

The Open Beta for Magic Arena will start on September 27.

The following set, Ravnica Allegiance will feature the other five guilds: Azorius (blue-white), Rakdos (black-red), Gruul (red-green), Simic (green-blue), and Orzhov (black-white).

Guilds of Ravnica will be released on October 5. Prerelease events will take place on September 29-30.
