Guardians of the Galaxy’s The Collector Confirmed For Avengers: Infinity War

It looks like Marvel's space thugs-turned-heroes aren't the only Guardians of the Galaxy characters that's going to make an appearance in the highly anticipated superhero mash-up, Avengers: Infinity War.

According to DjangoZero on Reddit, Marvel star Josh Brolin went live on Instagram yesterday, revealing that he's going to be working with Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Benicio Del Torro in Avengers: Infinity War today. While it's been confirmed for quite some time how Saldana and Pratt would be making appearances in the massive Avengers film, this new bit confirms the arrival of The Collector in the Marvel superhero movie.

While The Collector is no hero, it makes sense that Del Toro's character would play a part in Avengers: Infinity War. Some have inferred that as the main character of the upcoming Marvel film, Brolin's Thanos would attempt to collect all of the different Infinity Stones to become the ruler of the galaxy, and to do so he'd have to run into The Collector who has with him one of the stones.

Avengers: Infinity War debuts on May 4, 2018.
