Guardians of The Galaxy's Christ Pratt Is Getting His Own Star In The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Chris Pratt had actually been starring in Hollywood films for a long time, but the first time that he was cast as a lead was in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy. After a sudden burst of stardom, news has it that Pratt will now get his own star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The news comes from Variety, who got the info from VP of HWoF media relations Ana Martinez. Here's the post:

Pratt's name will be included among several actors, musicians, producers, and directors who have had their names adorn the famous Hollywood attraction since 1960. The Walk has amassed over 2.600 names, all of whom have made their mark on the entertainment industry.

I'm actually pretty happy to see that Pratt is now getting more recognition as a star. He was my favorite actor in Parks and Recreation, and if you follow his career closely, you'll notice him as a side character in several hit movies like Wanted, Her, and Moneyball.

Pratt's next film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, comes out on May 5.
