Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Will Reportedly Kill Off Another Team Member

If you're still reeling from the death of Yondu Udonta in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, you may be set to have your heart broken all over again. A new report claims that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will feature the death of another member of the team.

The report comes from We Got This Covered which cites multiple anonymous sources who claim that the Guardians will lose yet another member in Vol. 3. Unfortunately, this time it will be Rocket Raccoon who will bite the dust.

There have already been speculations that Rocket will be the main focus of the third Guardians film. After all, there have been reports that his creator will be introduced in Vol. 3 and Rocket is also set to get a love interest in the upcoming James Gunn movie. But will it all end with Rocket getting killed? We're hoping it doesn't happen so let's just cross our fingers and hope the team's trash panda manages to survive.

The premise of Vol. 3 is still a mystery but some believe that it could also feature the team trying to track down Gamora, who managed to return in Avengers: Endgame. If this is the case, then Star-Lord is clearly not giving up on the love of his life.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has not yet been given a production start date or an official release date. However, the film is expected to begin filming as soon as Gunn completes work on his DC movie The Suicide Squad.
