Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Star Sylvester Stallone Shares First Look at Stakar's New Suit

Sylvester Stallone is undoubtedly excited about returning in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and he can't stop sharing updates on social media. The Suicide Squad star has just shared another photo taken from the set of the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. Interestingly, this time it reveals Stakar Ogord's new suit for the MCU film!

Stallone posted the new picture on his official Instagram account. Although the veteran actor didn't indicate that it was taken on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, fans immediately realized that he is wearing a Ravager suit similar to the one he had worn in the second movie.

Interestingly, Stallone has deleted the image from his account. However, that didn't stop fans from circulating the photo of Stakar's new suit and celebrating the character's return in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Stallone's Stakar Ogord was originally introduced in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 where it was confirmed that he had a complicated history with Yondu Udonta. However, the character later returned along with the other Ravagers at the end of the film to pay tribute to Yondu during his funeral.

For now, it is unclear if Stallone will play a larger role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 or if Stakar will only appear in a smaller supporting role. However, there's a huge possibility he will be reunited with Aleta Ogord, Martinex, Charlie-27, Krugarr, and Mainframe when he returns in the MCU sequel.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be directed by James Gunn and the sequel is bringing back Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel. The film will also introduce Will Poulter as Adam Warlock.

The third Guardians movie is currently in production and is scheduled for release on May 5, 2023.
