Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista is among social media's most opinionated celebrities and for years now, the former WWE superstar and Marvel actor hasn't been shy about airing his sentiments regarding socio-political issues. This time around, the "Animal" is making his stance on the controversial Anti-Abortion law that was passed in Texas just recently.

The "Texas Heartbeat Act" which essentially bans abortion after six weeks into a pregnancy was put into effect last September 1 and unsurprisingly raised quite a few eyebrows. Of course, the entire abortion debate has been going on for years and has divided people from all walks of life. Many believe that abortion isn't pro-life and should never be considered while others think that anti-abortion violates the rights of women.

Bautista is on the side of the people against Texas' new mandate and he made it clear on social media that the Heartbeat Act shouldn't be a thing. On Twitter, the star of Netflix's Army of the Dead posted an image of himself wearing a "Her Body Her Choice" shirt and said he's not open to discussing the newly passed anti-abortion law. Dave writes: "There are very few things in this world that I'm not open to discussion about. This is one of them. If you disagree, I don't give AF. #HerBodyHerChoice #WomensRights". Meanwhile, it looks like Bautista's time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe may indeed be coming to a close after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. It would be safe to assume that the film will put more emphasis on Drax the Destroyer if he's actually on his way out. We don't know exactly what the future holds for Bautista but judging by his frustrations towards Marvel Studios and Disney, it doesn't look like we'll be seeing him in the MCU after GOTG 3.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is scheduled for release on May 5, 2023.
