Ground-Breaking New Night-Time Star Wars Show To Open In Walt Disney World

A new, innovative show called Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular will be arriving in Walt Disney World at Hollywood Studios later this summer.

According to Travel + Leisure, the new show will be a hundred percent multidimensional, taking viewers to different fan-favorite scenes complete with sounds. Scenes to be explored include the Death Star and Tatooine.

The new experience will reportedly be projected onto Grauman's Chinese Theatre and its surrounding ride buildings and structures, with a deeply immersive music and dialogue combination on 7.1 Surround Sound. In addition, each projection will be unique so that patrons will witness a new experience from each vantage point.

What's more, the display will also include lasers, fireworks, special effects, and smoke effects for holograms to make fans pleading for more. The site also claims that effect beams called SuperSharpys will be brought in by the show's designers so that look of lightsabers can be recreated with the night sky serving as the backdrop.

As if that isn't enough, Disney will also include a 150-foot tower of fire at one point in the show for added grandiosity.

It's worth noting that such video projections already exist in Disney parks, but this is the first show to combine projection mapping and fireworks into one spectacular experience.

This definitely sounds like a fantastic show and I have a feeling that even non-Star Wars fans will be drawn to the fandom after seeing this show.

Disney and Lucasfilm seem to be pulling out all the stops when it comes to anything Star Wars related.

This new show definitely sounds like it's going to be one of the best experiences yet.
