From the iconic Pasta with Lee Sun Kyun to the lauded team-up with Jo In Sung for It's Okay, That's Love, to the award-winning When the Camellia Blooms, the top star never fails to deliver outstanding series that get the fans all hooked with every episode.

Interestingly, Gong Hyo Jin will return to K-dramaland with the comeback series Ask the Stars with the equally talented Lee Min Ho.

Slated to air in 2023 via tvN, the upcoming rom-com K-drama is penned by Seo Sook Hyang of Pasta, Jealousy Incarnate and directed by Park Shin Woo who is the genius behind It’s Okay Not to Be Okay, Lovestruck in the City and Jealousy Incarnate.

Pasta

Released in 2010, the rom-com K-drama, Pasta, stars Gong Hyo Jin with Lee Sun Kyun, Alex, and Honey Lee as lead stars.

The series focuses on Seo Yoo Kyung’s (Gong Hyo Jin) dream to be promoted to chef after working three years as a kitchen assistant at the well-known restaurant La Sfera.

However, things get complicated at the restaurant after the new chef comes in. He fired all the female employees including Yoo Kyung. However, due to her passion, she is willing to do whatever it takes to return to La Sfera.

Interestingly, viewers could still watch the 20-episode series with subtitles via Netflix.

The Master’s Sun

After Pasta, another hit K-drama starring Gong Hyo Jin is the rom-com supernatural series The Master’s Sun.

The award winning actress headlines the series opposite So Ji Sub. The Master’s Sun cast also includes Seo In Guk and Kim Yoo Ri as lead stars.

In the 17-episode K-drama, Gong Hyo Jin plays a top student whose life changed after encountering an accident.

Due to this, she woke up with a mysterious ability to see earth-bound spirits.

Jealousy Incarnate

Of course, Gong Hyo Jin’s drama list will not be complete without Jealousy Incarnate starring Jo In Suk of Hospital Playlist.

In the smash hit series, Jo In Suk took the role of a notable and dashing anchor who works at the station with the newly hired and competitive meteorologist Pyo Na Ri, played by Gong Hyo Jin.

When the Camellia Blooms

Last on Gong Hyo Jin’s drama list available on Netflix is When the Camellia Blooms where she headlines along with Kang Ha Neul.

The top star scored her first ever Daesang Award or the grand prize at the 2019 KBS Drama Awards for her performance as the single mother Oh Dong Baek at the 2019 KBS Drama Awards.

It depicts the story of Dong Baek who moved to the small town of Ongsan and unexpectedly met the adorable local officer Hwang Yong Shik.


Hit-and-Run Squad


For the movies, Gong Hyo Jin reunited with Jo In Sung for the film Hit-and-Run Squad.

The duo is joined by Ryu Joon Yeol as lead stars, and he and Gong Hyo Jin took the roles of hit-and-run task force members.
