Goku's English Voice Actor Comments On The End of Dragon Ball Super

The cancellation of Dragon Ball Super caught many fans off guard. It might not have been perfect in terms of plot or structure but it was a success, managing to lure back old fans who loved Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, while also expanding on the series' lore. As the weeks go by, it seems like the Tournament of Power is going to be the last arc of the series or at least one of the final ones.

Even though he still has a number of episodes to dub, Sean Schemmel, the English voice of Goku and Goku Black, gave his two cents about the cancellation.

Responding to a fan on Reddit, Schemmel said he was sad about the series ending but didn't think it was the end of Dragon Ball. Schemmel feels that there will be more movies and video games to keep the series' memory alive. Remember, before Battle of Gods was released there were a ton of Dragon Ball video games.

Despite the end of Super, it's clear that there will be more Dragon Ball media. A new movie focusing on the origin of the Saiyans was recently announced, which has many fans excited. There could also be a new series that takes place after Super. Hopefully, it will take place after the 10-year time skip, so we can finally focus on Uub, as well as the adult versions of Goten and non-future Trunks.

Fans can stream Dragon Ball Super on Crunchyroll and Funimation's website.
