The most awaited face-off of Godzilla vs Kong proves to deliver as the film gets a box office earning of $21.5 million on its opening day in China and the two fan-favorite monsters bring about a heart-pounding battle to finally settle who is stronger and who is the real king among the monsters.

The much-anticipated crossover of the two giants brought both of its fanbases to support the film and bet on who would win the fight between the King of the Monsters, Godzilla, and Kong, who just increased in size enough to take on and challenge Godzilla.

Godzilla vs Kong will be about the square-off of Godzilla and Kong as they fight for an epic battle that will transcend through ages. Meanwhile, humanity is looking to wipe both of the monsters from the face of the Earth for humans to take back the planet once again.

Over years, even decades, there has been a debate on who would win if ever the two would go toe-to-toe. Previous adaptations hailed Kong as the winner and that disappointed many Godzilla fans considering Godzilla's regenerative powers and atomic beam.

Now that there is yet another version of their face-off, fans really made it sure that they support their favorite creature and root for who will be winning this epic battle. This translated into the earning of the film the first day it was released in China and it was already a whopping $21.5 million, even greater than Godzilla: King of the Monsters which had only $20.9 million in 2019.

To even consider there is an ongoing pandemic, Godzilla vs. Kong is something worth watching. Still, stay safe folks!

Godzilla vs. Kong is scheduled for a theatrical release and a same-day release via HBO Max on March 31, 2021.
