Godzilla: King Of The Monsters Villains Are Not The Kaijus At All

We already know that Godzilla will clash with King Ghidorah this May. However, it looks like none of the kaijus will be the real villains in Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

According to ScreenRant, a new King Ghidorah action figure has been revealed to be accompanied by an aircraft called an "Argo Jet". These jets have actually been featured in the King of the Monsters trailers with King Ghidorah as well as Rodan. However, the jets don't belong to the military. The outlet surmises that the aircraft actually belongs to an organization known as Argo, who are believed to have their own plans for the kaijus in the film.

The monsters aren't the only ones who will be manipulated by Argo in the movie. It was previously reported that they might be responsible for the kidnapping of Vera Farmiga's Dr. Emma Russell and her daughter Madison, who is played by Millie Bobby Brown. The organization could be planning to use the two in an effort to capture the kaijus.

Although their intentions are unclear, it is believed that their plans will clash with that of Monarch, which intends to protect Godzilla and the other kaijus. Needless to say, this could mean that an epic battle between Godzilla and King Ghidorah isn't the only thing to look forward to this summer.

King of the Monsters is directed by Michael Dougherty and also stars Kyle Chandler, Sally Hawkins, and Bradley Whitford. Former Game of Thrones actor Charles Dance is speculated to play the Argo leader in the film.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters will premiere on May 31.
