Godzilla and Ghidorah Clash in Final Trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Avengers: Endgame isn't the only big film coming out this year. Legendary is set to follow-up their Kaiju films with Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and we have a final trailer to get everyone hyped before the movie comes out next month.

While the movie has been teasing us four main Kaiju—Godzilla, Mothra, Ghidorah, and Rodan—it looks the film may actually include more. We don't know when the other monsters will be revealed in the film, but I have a guess that they could either appear in the beginning or the end. What are the odds we also get a return from King Kong to build up the eventual clash in Godzilla vs. Kong?

While the first Godzilla was no doubt a spectacle, I'm kind of hoping that this film becomes a huge improvement in the sense that we actually have human characters that we care about. The only great character in the first movie was Bryan Cranston, and they had to kill him off in the first half of the film. Hopefully Millie Bobby Brown and the rest of the cast have better things to do in this movie.

Following the global success of "Godzilla" and "Kong: Skull Island" comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters comes out May 31.
