Ginny & Georgia Season 3 is possibly happening. Although Netflix hasn't renewed the show for a new season, here's what its creator said about the series.
Is Ginny & Georgia Getting Another Season?
Several netizens are already clamoring for another season of Ginny & Georgia after watching Season 2. Many took to Twitter and expressed their excitement to see the mother and daughter once more.
"i need a season 3 of ginny & georgia immediately," one tweeted. Another added, "ahhh man, i'm ready for season 3 of Ginny & Georgia."
Ginny & Georgia creator Sarah Lampert spoke with Deadline about the show after dropping its second season. When asked about a potential renewal, she clarified that there are no talks yet, but she's also hopeful the show will be renewed.
"That being said, no, there's been no talks with Netflix about Season 3," Lampert said.
"They're very regimented about how they do things. So there's very much a strategy in place where I think we'll drop it, and then we have to wait to see how it does and if we're going to see Season 3 but I certainly hope we do because it's going to be a wild ride."
What To Expect In Ginny & Georgia Season 3?
When Lampert talked about the show, she acknowledged how Netflix allowed them to take control of the story in Season 2. According to her, her favorite part was how it was "always evolving and changing."
"So there's a lot of freedom there," she said. "I love surprising people, so I hope that that cliffhanger at the end of Episode 10 Season 2 was a big surprise, that's what we were going for."
So, when asked what fans could potentially see in the next season after Georgia was arrested during her wedding, she said there are many possibilities because Ginny and Austin could run to Zion like they did last time or turn to their stepdad Paul.

"I think we've set up a lot of really great possibilities in the sense that, just playing out hypotheticals, if Georgia is being charged with this crime, we have Zion, he's Ginny's dad, we have Gill in the picture now," she explained.
"I think previous to this, he had no chance at custody because he was a convicted felon but who knows now, and we've got Paul, who's the stepdad. We have so many golden possibilities for storytelling based on how rich these characters are, and based on how many surprises we want to throw into Season 3 that I'm being coy about but we do have it planned out."

When Will Netflix Possibly Confirm Ginny & Georgia Season 3?
Netflix hasn't officially renewed Ginny & Georgia for a third season. However, the streaming giant took two months after season 1 before they confirmed season 2.
So, fans still have to wait for a couple of months to see if the mother-and-daughter duo will return for the adventure.

When Will Ginny & Georgia Season 3 Premiere?
If the show gets a green signal, it might be released in late 2023 or early 2024 if it follows the 12 to 15 months timelines in TV productions, Elle reported.
However, the outlet also noted that there was nearly a two-year gap between the first and second seasons. The first season premiered on Feb. 24, 2021, while the second debuted on Jan. 5.
If Netflix follows the same pattern, Ginny & Georgia Season 3 will not be out until late 2024 or early 2025.
