Former The Mandalorian star Gina Carano may have been fired by Disney and Lucasfilm over her social media activity but she was able to find herself a new ally in the form of The Daily Wire's Ben Shapiro who willingly offered the mixed martial arts fighter the opportunity to work on her own solo project which will be directed and produced by her.

Details about Carano's project with The Daily Wire are still being kept under wraps but according to a new scoop from tipster Daniel Richtman (via Patreon), the ex-Cara Dune actor's goal is to compete with Lucasfilm by developing her own Star Wars-esque film. Richtman didn't go into detail about the supposed project and as it stands, Carano and all parties involved have yet to confirm anything so take it with a grain of salt.

Let me just say right off the bat that Gina's alleged concept for her own project sounds too ambitious but it can't be denied that Shapiro's big-time connections in Hollywood could ultimately pay dividends and help Carano's film come to fruition.

And while I'm not saying that I'm buying into Richtman's claims, it's worth noting that Gina's issues with Lucasfilm are far from done and there's no doubt that she has a huge score to settle with her former employers so the idea of her coming up with a Star Wars-level project of her own in an attempt to hit back at both Disney and Lucasfilm doesn't sound too crazy to actually believe.

Meanwhile, The Mandalorian Season 3 is scheduled to begin filming this April.
