Geralt's Voice Actor Says The Witcher 4 Should Be About Ciri

With CD Projekt Red hard at work on Cyberpunk 2077, we probably won't see a new installment of The Witcher anytime soon. This is probably why the third game was packed with so much content since it was acting as the series finale. However, if the developers were to ever work on The Witcher 4, voice actor Doug Cocker says it should focus on Ciri.

Cocker provides the sexy voice for Geralt, so it is interesting to hear this from him during an interview with Gamereactor. Due to the way Witcher 3 ended, it feels like a natural progression for the series if it decides to shift the spotlight on Ciri. Depending on the choices Geralt makes, she can either continue her training as a Witcher or explore multiple worlds and do better.

"If you're leading into The Witcher 4, I can only say I have no idea, although I think it will be. This is my own opinion, and CD Projekt Red knows what they are doing, and I have no idea what the plan is, but… If I was CD Projekt Red, I would makeThe Witcher 4, but I would be focusing on Ciri. InThe Witcher 3she hints at visiting other worlds and I think a game around her visiting those different worlds would be a coolWitcher 4."

Fans were able to play as Ciri during certain points of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and she was pretty fun to use. Her magic was great and much stronger than Geralt's, while her swordplay was just fine. CD Projekt Red can easily expand on her gameplay from Wild Hunt and make a whole new game out of it, so here is hoping that happens.

Should The Witcher 4 focus on Ciri? Or does Geralt still have a few adventures in him?
