Geralt's Original Voice Actor Shares His Thoughts on Netflix's The Witcher

Netflix's The Witcher has proven to be a pretty popular series, with many fans warming up to Henry Cavill's performance as Geralt of Rivia, making many forget that he was ever the Man of Steel. Fans of the video game also love the fact that Cavill does his best to mimic the voice of original Geralt voice actor Doug Cockle, with all these memes of him grunting and saying the f-word getting a ton of traction from fans.

How does Cockle feel about the Netflix series? Geralt's original voice actor recently binged the entire first season and he actually praises it, though he did complain about the confusing timeline, which almost everyone did so he's excused. None of the video games suffered from this problem so it's easy to see why people would be frustrated.

Scratch that, any normal viewer would be annoyed by the series' timeline. Good thing that the series picks up near the end or fans would have abandoned it. Who are we kidding, Toss a Coin to Your Witcher basically ensured this show's success?

Apologies for the ramble but it is good to know that Cockle enjoys the show just as much as the fans. While the series isn't a critical darling when compared to something like The Mandalorian, the cool fight scenes and top-notch special effects, not to mention a positive portrayal of women using their sexuality, and you have a series that will be a favorite for years to come.

The Witcher can now be streamed on Netflix.
