Game Of Thrones Star Thinks Some Key Players Will End As Wights In Season 8

Game of Thrones death count might have been severely lacking during its seventh season on HBO, however it seems like everyone's expecting the numbers to pick up as Westeros prepares to fight the Night King and his army of the undead in the final season of the popular fantasy epic.

Speaking in an interview with Esquire, Jaime Lannister actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau opens up about his expectations for the eighth season of Game of Thrones, and according to the Danish actor, it's more than likely that some of the main cast might end up being "turned" into weights in the final run of the show.

"The fear is that I would be turned into one of those undead. That would suck. You know some of the main characters are going to get turned. There are going to be some blue-eyed main characters running around. And, god, I hope it's not me. That's three hours of make-up in the morning."

The Great War will have its casualties, and though there isn't any certainty which one it'll be, whether it be Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow(Kit Harington), Greyworm (Jacob Anderson), Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) or any other character, we're sure that it's going to break fans hearts seeing anyone of the living turned into wights in the final season of Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones season 8 premieres sometime in 2018 or 2019.
