Sophie Turner has strong words for YouTube celebrity Logan Paul.
Earlier this week, the YouTuber drew flack after posting a now-deleted video of himself traveling with his friends through Aokigahara in Japan.
For those who aren't familiar with the name, Aokigahara is the country's "suicide forest," a spot on the northwester most part of Mount Fuji where individuals come to commit suicide. Paul and his friends found a dead body while passing through Aokigahara, but instead of reporting to the authorities Paul posted a video showing a dead body.
Not only did netizens find the video distasteful, but they also found Paul's response to the discovery extremely disrespectful. Paul's post brought on heavy criticism, and though the YouTuber posted an apology, the letter received backlash as well.
One of the netizens who felt like Paul's apology was forced an insincere was Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, and the actress went on Twitter to give her two-cents on the whole affair.
"@LoganPaul You're an idiot. You're not raising awareness. You're mocking. I can't believe how self-praising your 'apology' is. You don't deserve the success (views) you have. I pray to God you never have to experience anything like that man did."
Of course, Turner's painful words make a point. It's extremely asinine and disrespectful to mock those who have given in to suicide.
