There is little doubt that everyone has strong opinions about Game of Thrones Season 8 and most of these opinions aren't exactly in favor of the show's final season. However, it looks like Iwan Rheon is ready to disagree with anyone who didn't like how the HBO series concluded. Amazingly, Rheon says that one particular scene in the eighth season is "the best television I've ever seen."
The Ramsay Bolton actor recently spoke to NME where he pointed out that all those strong reactions were something he expected.
"It was always gonna be divisive," Rheon said. "I don't think it was gonna be any other way, to be honest. Obviously, you can't please everyone. I felt that they made a very strong decision to where they thought the season would go and I think they went with it and told the story really well."
That's not all. Rheon continued by stating that the night battle sequence was something he truly enjoyed.
"I thought the Battle of Winterfell was absolute genius, the best television I've ever seen. I thought it was really brave and they went for it," he said.
Well, it would have been amazing, if you were able to see anything in all those dark scenes. Either way, it's understandable why Rheon feels so strongly about a show that he worked on for three seasons.
