We can all agree that Margot Robbie has done an impressive, not to mention a "fantabulous" job as the DC Extended Universe's live-action Harley Quinn all things considered and it won't be long until she gets her big screen interaction with Pamela Isley aka Poison Ivy, a character whom she shares quite a history with.

Fans have been coming up with their fantasy castings for the iconic villain from Batman's rogues' gallery and Games of Thrones star Natalie Dormer always seems to enter the conversation. Now, a stunning fan art depicts the former Margaery Tyrell as the Gotham City femme fatale. She looks almost unrecognizable with the red hair and green, plant-like skin but man, I gotta say, it works! Check it out here:

Should Natalie end up being cast as Poison Ivy (and emphasis on "should"), it won't be Dormer's first superhero film gig. She previously starred in 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger as Lorraine. At this point, it's still a little too early to assume things considering DC and Warner Bros. seem like they're in no rush to reintroduce Ivy on the big screen. It could be due to the fact that the awful memories of 1997's Batman & Robin still linger in the minds of fans or it's just that they have bigger fish to fry. No one knows for sure but if they'd pull the trigger and consider Dormer for the role, I think they'll have their work cut out for them because she's a fantastic actress and she's proven that during her stint in GOT. Let's not get our hopes up though as the actual success rate of fan castings is pretty low. At the end of the day, it's still up to the studio to decide.

Speaking of Poison Ivy, the animated Harley Quinn series has been renewed for Season 3 and will now be exclusive to HBO Max.
