Game of Thrones Star Kit Harington Most Likely to Die in The Eternals

Game of Thrones fans might be eager to see Kit Harington play Dane Whitman in Marvel's The Eternals, but it looks like the film may end up killing Jon Snow on the big screen.

Movie Mortality just recently released a piece detailing the likelihood of actors to die on the big screen, and according to the publication, Harington is the most likely to kick the bucket in The Eternals. While the actor enjoyed popularity on the small screen thanks to HBO's fantasy epic, Game of Thrones, Harington has a 62.5 % chance of dying in a movie.

Sure, the British actor might have had a lot of attention on television, but Harington hasn't been in that many movies. So far, he's only been in small films like Silent Hill: Revelation, Pompeii, Testament of Youth, Seventh Son, The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, and Spooks: The Greater Good. Harington has lent his voice for two of the How to Train Your Dragon movies, but he only had a side role in both films.

Harington is currently on top of the publication's list of Top 10 Actors Most Likely To Die On Screen. The actor is right ahead of others like Merrit Butrick, Mickey Rourke, Mahershala Ali, Dave Bautista, Mchael Biehn, Gary Oldman, Taylor Kitsch, Holt McCallany, and Sean Bean.

Movie Mortality sure has a fascinating way of analyzing things. We hope that Harington proves the numbers wrong though and his character makes it through to the end of The Eternals.

The Eternals is set to premiere on November 6, 2020.
