Game of Thrones Season 8 Trailer Teases Jon Snow Riding Rhaegal

It has certainly been a long wait for the trailer for Game of Thrones Season 8. Luckily, HBO has finally dropped the highly anticipated footage from the final season.

Watch the amazing trailer above!

The trailer opens with a bloodied and distressed Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) hiding and running through dark hallways. She ominously talks about seeing different faces of death. "I look forward to seeing this one," Arya says to an unseen companion. Could this mean something will happen to George R.R. Martin's wife's favorite character? We're definitely crossing our fingers in hopes Arya will survive.

There are brief glimpses at everyone joining the action. We see the Unsullied as well as Jaime Lannister (Nicolaj Coster-Waldau) in the middle of the battlefield. However, there is no sign of the White Walkers until the end of the trailer. Could this mean there is another major battle aside from the fight against the Night King?

Perhaps the most intriguing part of the trailer is how in love Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) appear to be. Could this mean that Dany's dragons have actually started to trust Jon? There is a brief scene showing the two approach Drogon and Rhaegal with Jon seemingly walking up to the smaller dragon who is named after his real father. Will we see Jon ride Rhaegal to battle in the final season?

Game of Thrones Season 8 airs on HBO on April 14.
