Things aren't turning out as people expected in Game of Thrones Season 8. Although one character is currently in King's Landing with a certain mission, it looks like they may have made the journey for a completely different reason. So how will this affect the way that the series will end?

In the previous episode, Arya Stark and the Hound left Winterfell and made their way to King's Landing. Both have unfinished business, Sandor Clegane with his brother the Mountain and Arya with Cersei Lannister. However, Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 had a different plan for Arya.
The two managed to sneak into the Red Keep just as Daenerys Targaryen set the entire city on fire and causing the castle to collapse. Realizing that this meant death, the Hound ordered Arya to abandon her mission and leave the Red Keep immediately. This turned out to be the best thing that Sandor could do for his little companion as Arya witnessed the horrors of Daenerys' rampage firsthand.
There were barely any survivors as dragonfire engulfed King's Landing while Dany's men killed everyone in their way. Nevertheless, Arya managed to get out of there alive. Her survival has led to speculations that Arya might be destined to do something else now that she is in the city.
So is it possible that Arya will be the one to kill Daenerys now that she is aware of Dany's ruthlessness? People are still holding on to hope that it will be Jon Snow who will kill Dany in the season finale. However, at this point, we can't be sure just what will happen in the final season.
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 will air on HBO on May 19.
