Game Of Thrones Fans Can't Stop Talking About Tyrion And Jaime Lannister [SPOILERS]

Love him or hate him, Jaime Lannister always had one redeeming quality: He loved his brother Tyrion Lannister. The great relationship between the two has been displayed amazingly on Game of Thrones and it was once again depicted in Episode 5.

SPOILERS AHEAD! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

In Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5, Tyrion learned from Daenerys Targaryen that Jaime has been captured as he tried to sneak into King's Landing. Daenerys is clearly unimpressed with Jaime but that doesn't stop Tyrion from trying to save his brother one more time.

After getting the Unsullied to leave him alone with Jaime, Tyrion frees his brother as long as he promises to bring Cersei Lannister out of the Red Keep and escape to Pentos. Jaime is understandably concerned for Tyrion, saying that Daenerys would kill him if she found out he let him escape. However, his brother is still hoping that things will work out. And then, it was time to say goodbye.

"If it wasn't for you I would have never survived my childhood. You are the only one who didn't treat me like a monster. You were all I had," Tyrion told his brother before they embraced.

It's an emotional moment considering that both are aware that this will be the last time they see each other. Needless to say, fans couldn't get enough of the last exchange between the Lannister men.

Jaime isn't the only one that Tyrion lost in The Bells. Earlier in the episode, he had caused the death of Varys, the only real friend he made other than his own brother. Perhaps losing both (and his sister as well) might lead to Tyrion finally standing up to Daenerys and resigning as the Hand of the Queen. We'll soon find out in the season finale.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 will air on HBO on May 19.
