The premiere of Game of Thrones Season 8 is only a few weeks away and new photos from the final season have just been revealed. The images offer a glimpse at Jon Snow on his way home back to Winterfell as well as Jorah Mormont possibly preparing himself to meet his young niece.
The first image shows Jon Snow looking grim as he rides his horse back to Winterfell. He might be concerned about how his sisters Sansa and Arya Stark are going to react to his new allegiance with Daenerys Targaryen.
There is also a new photo of Jorah Mormont in Winterfell and he looks just as concerned as Jon. After all, it's the first time in several years that he has set foot back in the North. In addition to that, we already know that his niece Lyanna Mormont is a huge supporter of the King in the North and might be present at the homecoming. Needless to say, this is one meeting we are all looking forward to.

The final season might only be six episodes but there is little doubt that each episode will be filled with major surprises. A two-hour documentary is also expected to air after the season finale so that could count as a seventh episode.
Game of Thrones Season 8 will premiere on HBO on April 14.
