There is little doubt that Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 will be a truly heartbreaking milestone for fans. After all, the Battle of Winterfell is already expected to result in the death of several beloved characters. In the meantime, a new mystery has caused people to worry about Sansa Stark because of a certain photo.
Game of Thrones recently released the first photos from Season 8 Episode 3. Most of the pictures show the main characters preparing for the Battle of Winterfell, but one image is freaking people out. Interestingly, a photo of Sansa Stark appears to show a creepy face lurking behind her.
So who is that person hiding and watching Sansa? Some believe it might simply be her sister Arya Stark. However, since this is Game of Thrones, others are speculating that it might be a resurrected Littlefinger.
Sansa and Arya had assassinated Petyr Baelish in the previous season finale but what happened to the body is still unknown. Although fans are hoping that they had burned the body, some are also concerned that it was not properly disposed of.
Burning bodies is the best way to avoid being resurrected as a wight. This was perfectly shown in Season 5's Hardhome where the Night King immediately brought back the dead and doubled his army's number in front of a shocked Jon Snow.
Is it possible that Littlefinger will be resurrected and go after Sansa in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3? We're certainly hoping it doesn't happen. In the meantime, we do recommend taking this with a grain of salt.
