Game of Thrones Direwolf Tragically Passes Away After Cancer Battle

It's been a rough 2020 so far, with the Australian bushfire kicking things off and the current Coronavirus forcing everyone to stay at home. We already know that a few celebrities have it, though they're rich enough to get tests and condescendingly sing Imagine to us for some odd reason. Well, things are about to get even sadder as Odin, who played Bran's Direwolf Summer in Game of Thrones, has passed away at the age of 10 due to a battle with cancer.

The family of Odin, via Belfast Live, posted a touching message about the big dog, pointing out how the loss of their dog is a tragedy and hoping that the canine leaves a positive impact on the lives of everyone he interacted with. This is a true tragedy since dogs are just such gentle creatures and they deserve to live just as long as us flawed humans, if not more.

As a dog owner, I can only imagine how hard it must be to lose a family member. Dogs might just be seen as animals to some but the joy they bring cannot be replaced. We hope that the family of Odin finds some peace.
