Game Of Thrones Concept Artist Joins Star Wars Rogue One Prequel Series

It looks like David Benioff and D.B. Weiss aren't the only people from Game of Thrones who are jumping into the Star Wars bandwagon. Concept artist Kieran Belshaw has just confirmed that he will be working on the new Rogue One: A Star Wars Story prequel series that will focus on Cassian Andor.

Belshaw reportedly took to Instagram to tease on his new project with Disney+ (via Star Wars News Net). The Game of Thrones concept artist recently celebrated getting more than 7,000 followers on social media and decided to reveal what he will be working on next.

"Wow over 7000 followers, thanks to you all! I'm just starting work on a new tv series this week, getting some research in!! can you guess what it is? ... very exciting! I'll keep posting when I can!" Belshaw wrote. He also added the hashtags #lucasfilm and #starwars to the caption.

This is certainly exciting news considering that the Cassian Andor series will deal with espionage and dangerous missions. In addition to that, it has already been confirmed that Diego Luna will reprise his Rogue One role. However, it is still unclear if the show will reveal how Cassian ended up with K-2SO.

Belshaw isn't the only member of the Game of Thrones crew who is now working on a Star Wars project. It has already been confirmed that Game of Thrones writers and executive producers Benioff and Weiss will be developing a new trilogy for the franchise. Although it was initially believed that the two will be creating a series of movies based on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, their trilogy is set to be completely different.
