Now that HBO's Game of Thrones is done, fans are wondering when we'll see George R. R. Martin's final Song of Fire and Ice books so that they can know how this series was supposed to end. It seems like the acclaimed writer is taking his time with these last two books but has been keeping busy, even claiming that he is working on a new video game in Japan on one of his blog posts.
Martin is pretty vague about this game but a representative from the game told Gematsu that the writer is working on a new open-world video game with Hidetaka Miyazaki, the creator of Dark Souls. This representative told the website that the game's working title is GR and will be developed by From Software, who always make the Souls titles, and will reportedly be revealed during E3.
Apparently, the game has been in development for three years so if this ends up being true, E3 should be an event for gamers to look forward to. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice proved that the developers can almost do no wrong with the same control scheme and there's a great chance that this will be a good game. If it's really open-world, that will be huge for From Software fans.
What do you think this George R. R. Martin game will be like?
