There's a growing coronavirus pandemic and it has affected several major actors as well, with Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson to be the first ones to announce about the diagnosis, including James Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, and Thor: Ragnarok star Idris Elba. Now, a Game of Thrones alum has tested positive for COVID-19 as well, making him the latest figure in Hollywood to announce his diagnosis.

Kristofer Hivju, who played the role of Tormund on the hit HBO series, took to Instagram to share the news. The actor says he is currently in self-quarantine with his family in Norway and pointed out that his symptoms were mild. He then assured fans that he and his family are in good health and urges everyone to be "extremely careful" because there are other people at higher risk from this virus.

Hivju is set to appear in the second season of Netflix's The Witcher. Though the series' production has been halted for around two weeks, the news of the actor's diagnosis came after the delayed production. That said, Netflix recently announced (via Deadline) that they will conduct a deep cleaning of The Witcher set and has advised the staff to quarantine themselves. The production shut down has nothing to do with Hivju's diagnosis but it is a precautionary measure.

We hope for everyone who is affected for a speedy recovery and for everyone to stay safe.
