Wonder Woman Star Gal Gadot Reportedly Returning for Fast and Furious 10

It's been such a confusing time in the DC studios given that James Gunn’s future plans remain a mystery to the public. With rumors that Gal Gadot was passed over for the role of Diana Prince because Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 3 was canceled, the Red Notice star is open to taking any role, and she's rumored to be returning to her roots to reunite with her Fast & Furious family.

According to The Direct’s exclusive report, Gadot is set to return to the Fast & Furious franchise in 2023's Fast X. Fast X, with an assumingly $340 million production budget, is expected to be the biggest movie of the franchise. Gadot made her big-screen debut as Gisele Yashar in 2009’s Fast & Furious, which was the fourth film in the franchise, then reprised her role in 2011’s Fast Five and 2013’s Fast & Furious 6.

However, in the sixth installment, she dies as she sacrifices herself to save Sung Kang's Han's life, and she hasn't been seen since. But that’s about to change if the rumors are true that she might come back from the dead. In the Fast & Furious universe, it’s not impossible to bring back dead characters. After all, Han himself had also been seemingly killed in an explosion in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift but made a surprising comeback in F9.

In 2020, the Justice League actress was asked if she has plans to return to the Fast & Furious film series, but she responded, “Oh wow, I don't know. I have no idea. Right now it's not on my to-do list.” But given that two years have passed, this reaction might have changed for the better.

As the rumor waits for its verification, fans can expect to see Gadot next as she stars in an upcoming spy action thriller on Netflix dubbed "Heart of Stone." She is also set to appear as the Evil Queen in the upcoming live-action version of Snow White for Disney.

Gadot rose to fame when she assumed the role of Wonder Woman and made her DC Universe debut as the Princess of Themyscira in the 2016 film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Her character appeared in her 2017 solo film, Wonder Woman, as well as in Justice League (2017), Wonder Woman 1984 (2020), and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021).
