Full-Art Unsanctioned Basic Lands Are Coming to Magic: The Gathering Arena

Love the stunning new full-art Magic: The Gathering basic land cards from the newly-released Unsactioned product?

If you answered, "Yes", you may want to save up 2,500 gems (premium game currency) in Magic: The Gathering Arena because Wizards of the Coast will be releasing them next week, as Redditor megaRammy pointed out.

These gorgeous new basic lands illustrated by Adam Paquette were featured in Unsanctioned, the silver-bordered preconstructed product, and all five Unsanctioned basic lands will be available in MTG Arena with the March 12 update for 2,500 gems. There doesn't seem to be an option to acquire the set of lands in gold (game currency).

That's a steep price for just five basic lands, about the price equivalent of three ranked Booster Drafts in MTG Arena, but there are players willing to pay that to have these awesome-looking lands.

Are you excited to get these Unsanctioned lands in MTG Arena or would you rather spend those gems on something else? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.

MTG Arena's game update is scheduled for Thursday, March 12. You can check out the new features that come with next week's update here. The Secret Lair Thalia: Beyond the Helvault will also be available for 24 hours on that day.
