From being colleagues in the K-pop music scene, FTISLAND Minhwan and former LABOUM member Yulhee sparked romance and grew together as a couple. They have been showing their love for each other by expanding their family years after they got married.
Initially, their fans had no idea what was happening when they ignited relationship rumors in 2017. At that time, they uploaded pictures of them together but quickly deleted them afterwards.
It did not take long before Yulhee decided to leave LABOUM and tie the knot with the drummer. After years of making that decision, Minhwan shared their story and showed why things between them happened perfectly.

FTISLAND Minhwan Shares Whether They Will Welcome New Baby Soon
The FTISLAND drummer recently made a guest appearance on the October 12 broadcast of Radio Star (via Newsen), where he shared his current family life.
It is worth noting that he and Yulhee already have three children: a son Jaeyul and twins, Ah Yoon and Ah Rin.
As they now have a happy family, Minhwan revealed that he no longer plans to have more kids as “he closed the factory,” sharing that he underwent a vasectomy. Yulhee, on the other hand, reportedly wants more kids since she misses things only a newborn can give.

Although he no longer wants to have kids, he granted his wife’s wife to have twins. After their son was born, they considered in vitro fertilization (IVF) to make the twin but were told it was impossible anymore because Yulhee already had a son, and she was still young.
Still, he continues to be a loving husband and father, just like what he promised to Yulhee’s father.
“At the time, Yulhee was 21 years old [by Korean reckoning]. When we went to tell her parents, I thought, ‘I would rather be hit once. If I’m hit really hard, I think I might feel relieved.’ Instead, her father said very calmly, ‘Do you think you can live well? Can you move forward carrying everything?’ So I said, ‘I will live diligently. Please trust me,’” he said.
FTISLAND Minhwan Shares Tips on How To Put Kids to Bed
As he talked to Sam Hammington, Jason, Jang Dong Min, and Jo Choong Hyun, he gave them tips on putting kids to sleep.
Per Minhwan, it is typical to read children’s books before going to bed, but it requires having a light on. With that, he came up with the idea of turning off the light and then making up stories instead.
