With Fortnite having been referenced in Avengers: Endgame, Epic Games massive multiplayer success has been slowly bringing in more characters from pop culture. Just in, they've dropped a few trailers for their upcoming Nexus War, and it reveals a ton of new Marvel icons—including the Devourer of Worlds, Galactus.
The Lore, Legends, and Heroes from Marvel have arrived in Fortnite. Join the fight and take on Galactus to save all of Reality.
While we have standard MCU heroes like Iron Man, Thor, Groot, and Rocket, we also have new faces in the form of She-Hulk (who is actually getting her own Disney+ series soon). I guess they're also making good use of the Fox acquisition and are introducing X-Men and Fantastic Four characters Wolverine, Storm, Mystique, and Doctor Doom.
Based on the gameplay trailer, each character looks to have their own special abilities that you will be able to bring to the playing field. What's curious is that there is a part in the narration that talks about ‘regaining memories' so it's likely that the Marvel heroes' involvement will have one big story explaining the whole Nexus plot. I'm just curious why Fortnite didn't include Silver Surfer in the trailer because you know he's supposed to come as the Herald of Galactus; then again, I could just be nitpicking at this point.
