The pandemic has been affecting lots of opportunities to see the world and have fun and when watching Kdramas became the viewers' only remedy for loneliness and stress, hearing such news really is unfortunate.
Upcoming Korean web drama series Fly Again has announced its temporary halt of filming as one of the production staff had tested positive for COVID-19.
In particular, MONSTA X's Hyungwon, the lead for the web drama, and his co-actor Lee Seung Heon have been tested after being classified as close contact with the infected.
Fortunately, both actors tested negative for COVID-19 but have been required to enter self-quarantine as a precautionary measure.
Meanwhile, Fly Again is a musical web drama that revolves around the journey and growth of high school students who try their best to fly towards their dreams. As they make their way to have all ends meet despite struggles and hardships, each will eventually find solace and assistance among friends.
Hyungwon will be portraying the lead character Han Yohan. He is a transfer student at Hanbit Art High School who takes a new leap from being a genius dancer to a talented idol. His stay in the high school will give him coincidental opportunities with the dance club "Villains" and will encounter yet another world far different from his normal life.
Alongside the phenomenal Korean boy group member is Tony Ahn, a member of the first-generation idol group H.O.T. He will play the character of Yoo Minhyuk, a music teacher at Hanbit Art High School who will have a huge role in changing the students' lives.
While Park Eunhye will portray Goo Song-yi, and Kim Myung-ji as the honor student On Jimin who the viewers will expect to have great chemistry with the character of Hyungwon.
Fly Again is expected to air in the second half of 2021. But due to this unfortunate event that halts the drama's filming, we are expecting that its release will be postponed to a later date.
