First Trailer For Sense8 Series Finale Released

Netflix

Netflix has released the first trailer for the series finale of the Wachowskis and J. Michael Straczynski's awesome sci-fi series Sense8. The two-hour series finale will be available on Netflix next month, and while fans are glad that the series is getting a special finale to wrap things up after Netflix canceled the show after just a couple of seasons, some online are still hoping that another streaming network would pick the series up so that fans could see more seasons, as the Wachowskis originally planned.

Based on what we see in the trailer, it looks like the seven sensates will unite one last time to save the eighth, Wolfgang, who ended up being captured at the end of Season 2. The characters include Capheus (Toby Onwumere), Kala (Tina Desai), Lito (Miguel Angel Silvestre), Nomi (Jamie Clayton), Riley (Tuppence Middleton), Sun (Donna Bae), Will (Brian J. Smith) and Wolfgang (Max Riemelt).

As much as I'm thankful that Netflix made the series finale possible after being canceled, I just wish that Sense8 will get the revival it deserves in the future.

Sense8 is one of the best Netflix originals I've seen, and I can't wait to see the series finale next month.

Synopsis:

Eight strangers around the globe find themselves connected — first by a violent vision, then by their shared ability to connect with one another's thoughts and actions, and finally by the urgent need to find out what happened and why. Their need to know goes beyond simple curiosity — as they pursue answers, a mysterious organization hunts them down, intent on destroying them.

The Sense8 series finale is set to premiere on Netflix on June 8, 2018.
